The main cocoon production areas in Guangdong and Guangxi have entered summer logging, resulting in low pupation rates and a decrease in yield. The wholesale price of fresh pupae in the Shandong market is generally between 110000 and 11500 RMB/ton for AB grade.
The loading prices for fresh pupae in Guangxi and Guangdong factories are around 11000 RMB/ton for A-grade, 10500 RMB/ton for B-grade, 9000 RMB/ton for C-grade, and 8500 RMB/ton for D-grade. The basic loading price for factories in Guangxi ranges from 9000 to 10500 RMB/ton, while 80% of enterprises in Guangxi maintain a factory price of over 10200 RMB/ton for silkworm pupae.
Dry and wet pupae: The acid value of A-grade dry and wet pupae is around 2-4 RMB/ton, the acid value of B-grade pupae exceeds 5 RMB/ton, the acid value of B-grade pupae exceeds 5 RMB/ton, and the acid value of 5C grade pupae exceeds 8500 RMB/ton.
