According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the styrene market fell on August 8th. The price of styrene in Shandong was 8,533.33 RMB/ton, a decrease of 0.39% compared to the previous trading day and a year-on-year decrease of 1.82%.

Upstream caustic soda

International oil prices had fallen, cost support was poor, and the styrene market had followed suit. Recently, downstream demand had been poor, but costs were still relatively high.

Market outlook
