The price of corrugated paper has slightly decreased. On August 11th, the average ex factory price of 140g corrugated base paper was 2,640 RMB/ton, a decrease of 0.38% compared to the average price of 2,650 RMB/ton on August 6th.

By observing market changes, it can be seen that the domestic wastepaper market experienced relatively small fluctuations last week, with prices rising first and then falling. On the supply side, the recycling volume of the packaging factory shows a positive trend with the arrival of summer, and the market inventory has slightly increased compared to the previous period. However, the demand for finished paper in the downstream market is still insufficient, with dealers often restocking according to orders, and the market demand is mainly in demand. In a state of oversupply, prices continue to operate at low levels.

The price of corrugated base paper has still slightly declined this week. Last week, the trend of the corrugated paper market was weak and consolidated, with some companies making slight adjustments or implementing quantitative preferential policies, resulting in a weak trading atmosphere in the market. At present, terminal orders are limited, and the overall shipment progress in the market is slow. In addition, the trend of raw material prices is fluctuating and downward, resulting in a lack of positive market support. Some companies have lowered their quotations in line with the trend. The continuous downturn in the corrugated paper market is not unrelated to the current economic environment, and the continuous expansion of production at the source is also adding insult to injury.

Paper analysts from SunSirs believe that the prices of wastepaper and corrugated paper are currently in a weak position, and downstream purchasing willingness is not good.
