Price trend
In terms of titanium concentrate, the price of titanium concentrate in Panxi region had increased this week. As of August 18th, the tax-free quotation for 38-42 grade titanium concentrate was around 1,580-1,600 RMB/ton, the tax-free quotation for 46 grade 10 titanium concentrate was around 2,200-2,250 RMB/ton, and the quotation for 47 grade 20 titanium concentrate was around 2,300-2,460 RMB/ton.
Analysis review
As of August 18th, the spot market for titanium concentrate was slightly tight, and the market quotation was firm and upward. Downstream titanium dioxide enterprises had seen an improvement in market conditions, but under cost pressure, the purchases were still on demand and cautious.
Market outlook
In the short term, the market price of titanium concentrate is strong and the actual transaction price is negotiable.
