SunSirs: The DMF Market Was Mainly Operating Stably (August 22-29)

Price trend

According to data monitored by SunSirs, as of August 29th, the average price of premium DMF products quoted by domestic DMF enterprises was 5,100 RMB/ton. This week, the trend of DMF price was mainly upward, and the mainstream price was around 5,200 RMB/ton.

Analysis review

This week, the DMF market saw a narrow upward trend overall, with prices mainly stable compared to the same period last week. As of August 29th, the mainstream price range was 4,700.00 RMB/ton. The downstream procurement atmosphere was average, with insufficient upstream cost support and slow shipments. Manufacturers made profit-cuttings for sales, and inventory levels were high. The latest quotation from the manufacturer: Shandong Jinshanrun Chemical Co., Ltd. offered a price of 5,500 RMB/ton, Shandong Xirui Chemical Co., Ltd. offered a price of 6,400 RMB/ton, and Jinan Aochen Chemical Co., Ltd. offered a price of 6,200 RMB/ton.

Chemical Index: On August 28th, the chemical index stood at 917 points, an increase of 10 points compared to the previous day, a decrease of 34.50% from the highest point in the cycle of 1,400 points (2021-10-23), and an increase of 53.34% from the lowest point of 598 points on April 8th, 2020. (Note: The cycle refers to the period from December 1st, 2011 to the present).

Market outlook
