September 27 2023 10:46:01SunSirs(John)

Price trend

According to monitoring data from SunSirs, as of September 25, 2023, the reference price of n-butanol in the Shandong region of China was 9,366 RMB/ton. Compared with September 1 (reference price of n-butanol was 9,800 RMB/ton), the price was reduced by 434 RMB/ton, a decrease of 4.42%.

Analysis review

From the monitoring chart of SunSirs data, it can be seen that since September (9.1-9.25), the overall market situation of n-butanol in the Shandong region of China showed a fluctuating and declining trend. In early September, the n-butanol market in Shandong Province showed an overall upward trend. At the beginning of the month, some devices in the n-butanol field were repaired, and the overall supply on the field was controllable. The supply side pressure was relatively small, supporting the market to move upwards. On September 15th, the reference price of the n-butanol market in Shandong Province was around 9,800-10,000 RMB/ton, with an increase of 2.38% in the first ten days.

In late September, the downstream market demand for n-butanol was average, and the demand side support for n-butanol was loosened. In addition, some devices in the n-butanol field started operating, leading to an increase in overall market supply and an increase in overall pressure on the supply side. As a result, both supply and demand support weakened, the n-butanol market began to weaken and decline. As of September 25th, the market price of n-butanol in Shandong region was around 9,200-9,300 RMB/ton, Within ten days, the decline was 6.64%.

Market outlook

As of September 25th, the overall trading atmosphere in the n-butanol market was relatively light, downstream construction was average and on-site supply and demand transmission was weak. The n-butanol factory was actively shipping, and the n-butanol data analyst from SunSirs predicts that in the short term, the domestic n-butanol market in Shandong region will mainly adjust slightly, and the specific trend still needs to pay more attention to specific news changes on the supply and demand side.
