The latest data released by the General Administration of Customs shows that in September 2023, China imported 10.825 million tons of coking coal, an increase of 58.1% year-on-year and 13.1% month on month.

From January to September 2023, China imported a total of 73.145 million tons of coking coal, a year-on-year increase of 61.0%.

In September 2023, China imported 1.117 million tons of anthracite, an increase of 33.7% year-on-year and a decrease of 21.6% month on month.

From January to September 2023, China imported a total of 13.531 million tons of anthracite coal, a year-on-year increase of 58.3%.
