According to foreign sources on October 24th, data released by the American Petroleum Institute (API) on Tuesday showed that both crude oil and finished oil storage in the United States decreased last week.
In the week ending October, crude oil inventories decreased by approximately 2.7 million barrels. Gasoline inventory decreased by 4.2 million barrels, while distillate inventory decreased by approximately 2.3 million barrels.
Analysts had previously expected that US crude oil inventories increased by about 200000 barrels last week, gasoline inventories decreased by about 900000 barrels, and distillate inventories decreased by about 1.2 million barrels.
