On November 8th, the commodity price index (BPI) stood at 961 points, a decrease of 2 points from yesterday, a decrease of 28.44% from the cycle's highest point of 1343 points (2021-10-19), and an increase of 45.61% from the lowest point of 660 points on February 3rd, 2016. (Note: The cycle refers to the period from December 1st, 2011 to the present)

According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, there were a total of 34 commodities on the November 8, 2023, with a month on month increase in commodity prices. These commodities were concentrated in the chemical industry sector (19 in total) and the non-ferrous metal sector (3 in total), with aniline (2.50%), monoammonium phosphate (2.03%), and acrylonitrile (1.81%) ranking among the top three. There are a total of 71 commodities that have decreased compared to the previous month, mainly in chemical (24 in total) and non-ferrous (10 in total). The top three commodities with a decrease are WTI crude oil (-4.27%), Brent crude oil (-4.19%), and N-methylpyrrolidone (-4.11%). The average daily increase or decrease is -0.16%.
