Price trend

According to data monitored by SunSirs, as of November 16th, the average price of premium DMF quoted by domestic DMF enterprises was 4,612.5 RMB/ton. This week, the DMF price fell slightly, with a decrease of 0.54%. As of November 16th, the mainstream price was around 4,700 RMB/ton.

Analysis review

This week, the overall DMF market experienced a narrow decline, with prices falling by 1.04% compared to the same period last week. As of November 16th, the mainstream price range was 4,700.00 RMB/ton. The downstream procurement atmosphere was average, demand was insufficient, upstream cost support was average, manufacturers' shipments were smooth, and manufacturers gave up profits for sales. The latest quotation from the manufacturer: Nantong Runfeng Petrochemical Co., Ltd. quoteed 4,700 RMB/ton, Wuhan Jixin Yibang Biotechnology Co., Ltd. quoted 5,200 RMB/ton, and Shandong Hanyue Chemical Co., Ltd. quoted 5,500 RMB/ton.

Chemical Index: On November 14th, the chemical index stood at 862 points, an increase of 1 point compared to the previous day, a decrease of 38.43% from the highest point in the cycle of 1,400 points (2021-10-23), and an increase of 44.15% from the lowest point of 598 points on April 8, 2020. (Note: The cycle refers to the period from December 1st, 2011 to the present).

Market outlook
