According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the domestic corn price fluctuated slightly last week, with an average price of 2,642.86 RMB/ton for yellow corn on the third day of the week and 2,640.00 RMB/ton on the weekend, a decrease of 0.11% during the week.
In late November, due to snowfall in some regions, the market volume of corn in the production areas has decreased. In order to stimulate delivery, some enterprises have slightly increased their purchase prices, driving a slight rebound in domestic corn prices at the beginning of the week. With the weakening of weather factors, the domestic corn market supply has returned to normal. In addition, imported grain has arrived in Hong Kong one after another, and the domestic corn market supply has become loose again, resulting in a slight decline in domestic corn market prices.
Last week, domestic egg prices slightly rebounded, rising by 3.56% within the week. Pig prices fluctuated and continued to move forward, falling by 0.34% within the week. The breeding industry continued to operate at a low level, and the enthusiasm of farmers to replenish their pens remained low. The demand for corn feed in the future will continue to be sluggish.
China corn product analyst at SunSirs, believes that the overall domestic corn production is abundant, imported corn continues to arrive in Hong Kong, the corn market supply is loose, and the demand for feed is relatively weak. Downstream deep processing enterprises have a strong wait-and-see attitude, and the market supply and demand game continues to intensify. In the short term, the domestic corn market price recovery momentum is insufficient, and the overall situation will be slightly consolidating at the current level.
