On December 5th, foreign media reported that the Australian Bureau of Agricultural Resources, Economics and Sciences (ABARES) released a report on Tuesday, raising its forecast for wheat, barley, and rapeseed production for 2023/24, but still lower than the previous year.
The wheat production increased by 100000 tons to 25.5 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 37%.
The barley production increased by 300000 tons to 10.8 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 24%.
The production of rapeseed increased by 300000 tons to 5.5 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 33%.
