SunSirs: China Rapeseed Meal Rose first and then Fell This Week (December 8-14)
December 15 2023 14:03:58SunSirs(Selena)

According to the monitoring of the commodity market analysis system of SunSirs, the average market price of rapeseed meal on December 8th was 2,980 RMB/ton, and on December 14th, the average market price of rapeseed meal was 2,963 RMB/ton, with a decline of 0.56% during the period.

This week, the market for rapeseed meal rose first and then fell, with limited room for market rebound. Affected by the delayed unloading of imported soybeans at the beginning of the week, domestic meal prices were boosted, and the rapeseed meal market rebounded slightly. It is expected that a large amount of imported rapeseed will gradually arrive at the port, the operating rate of oil factories will increase, and the supply of rapeseed meal is expected to be loose. Aquaculture is in the off-season, and demand for rapeseed meal is weak. The supply and demand of rapeseed meal are weak, and bearish factors dominate, leading to a weakening of the rapeseed meal market.

In terms of soybean meal: According to the monitoring of the commodity market analysis system of SunSirs, the average market price of soybean meal on December 18th was 4,015 RMB/ton, and on December 14th, the average market price of soybean meal was 3,982 RMB/ton, with a decrease of 0.82% during the period. This week, the soybean meal market first rose and then fell, and the rapeseed meal market was affected by it.

The demand for rapeseed meal is in the off-season, with weak market support and an expected increase in rapeseed meal supply. It is expected that rapeseed meal will continue to fluctuate and operate weakly.
