Analysis review

Due to the stabilizing trend of raw material prices and the strong wait-and-see attitude of downstream trading entities, the overall quoted prices of domestic sodium metabisulfite enterprises had remained stable this week, with a market price range of 2,450-2,600 RMB/ton for industrial grade sodium metabisulfite. The product inventory was about 30%, and the company mainly completed orders from old customers.

This week, domestic soda ash prices slightly increased, rising 0.72% within the week, while sulfur prices slightly increased, rising 3.46% within the week. The upward trend of upstream product prices slowed down during the week, and the overall fluctuation of raw material costs stabilized. The market price of sodium metabisulfite in the future lacks further upward momentum.
