The hydrogen peroxide commodity index on February 24 was 99.28, a decrease of 9.05 points from the previous day, a 54.24% decrease from the highest point of the cycle at 216.98 points (2017-12-24), and a 38.39 increase from the lowest point of 71.74 points on August 03, 2016 %. (Note: Period refers to 2011-09-01 to now)

According to the monitoring of SunSirs: Near the end of February, the price of hydrogen peroxide dropped again. On February 24, the average market price of 27.5% hydrogen peroxide was 913 RMB/ton, a daily decline of 8.36%, and a decrease of 18.21% from the beginning of the month.

Analysis review   

On February 24, except for a small number of manufacturers in the maintenance of hydrogen peroxide plants, most of them resumed work in general, and the logistics aspect has gradually improved. Due to the general terminal demand, the hydrogen peroxide market is still weakly dominated. Except for a few companies that do not offer external quotations, most companies resume their quotations. Although prices of some manufacturers have risen, as most companies have just resumed external quotations, the overall price is still lowered, and some companies have fallen by more than 300 RMB/ton.

As of February 24, the quotations of hydrogen peroxide in various regions are as follows:

Shandong region: Luxi Chemical 27.5% hydrogen peroxide 940 RMB/ton; prices rose 100 RMB/ton.

Hebei region: The factory price of Zhengyuan Fertilizer 27.5% hydrogen peroxide dropped to 850 RMB/ton, unchanged.

Anhui: This week, Anhui Quansheng and Jinhe resumed quotations. Among them, the price of Anhui Quansheng 27.5% hydrogen peroxide was 950 RMB/ton, which was 350 RMB/ton lower than the previous price. Jinhe 27.5% hydrogen peroxide was 1,100 RMB/ton, and the price fell 200 RMB/ton.

Hunan area: Hunan Shuangyang Hi-Tech Chemical Co., Ltd. quoted a price of RMB 1,200 / ton for 27.5% hydrogen peroxide, and the price dropped by RMB 100 / ton.

Zhejiang area: Hangzhou Mingxin will not make external offers for the time being.

Market outlook

SunSirs hydrogen peroxide analysts believe that: in March, terminal enterprises resumed construction one after another, rigid demand increased, and the market price of hydrogen peroxide is expected to rise.
