Price trend

According to data monitored by SunSirs, as of December 25th, the average price of industrial grade premium cyclohexane in China was 7,116.67 RMB/ton, a narrow decline compared to the same period last week. This week, the price had dropped by 0.47%, and the overall market supply and demand were balanced, with manufacturers mainly offering discounts for sales.

Analysis review

This week, the market price of cyclohexane had slightly declined, with the mainstream price around 7,100 RMB/ton, a decrease of 0.47% compared to the same period last week. The mainstream manufacturer's quotation range was maintained at around 7,000 RMB/ton, and downstream restocking was on demand, with weak demand and less than expected. Upstream support was lacking. Latest enterprises’ quotations: Shanghai Ronghe Chemical Co., Ltd. offered a price of 6,800 RMB/ton, Shandong Hanyue Chemical Co., Ltd. offered a price of 7,800 RMB/ton, Shandong Lifeda Fine Chemical Co., Ltd. offered a price of 6,400 RMB/ton, and Shandong Zhenkun New Materials Co., Ltd. offered a price of 7,350 RMB/ton.

Chemical index: On December 24th, the chemical index was 876 points, unchanged from the previous day, a decrease of 37.43% from the highest point in the cycle of 1,400 points (2021-10-23), and an increase of 46.49% from the lowest point of 598 points on April 8th, 2020. (Note: The cycle refers to 2011-12-01 present).

Market outlook
