Yesterday, the diethylene glycol market experienced a surge, with spot prices closing at 5640-5660 RMB/ton. After the holiday, the market has adjusted and recovered. During the port cargo stage, there is a significant increase in pre arrival, with inventory possibly returning to around 25000 tons. Downstream demand is flat, and the positive outlook for the future is gradually fading away. Diethylene glycol may return to normal operation, and the trend may rise first and then decline.
From December 29th to January 1st, the total shipment volume from the two storage areas in Zhangjiagang was 3190 tons, with an average daily shipment of 797.5 tons during the New Year holiday. The total inventory of the two warehouses is 17700 tons.
