According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the average price of nitric acid on January 15th this week was 2,116 RMB/ton, and on January 19th it was 2,066 RMB/ton, a decrease of 2.36% in price.

Analysis review

The price of concentrated nitric acid had fallen, and the domestic acid market was weak and declining. Adequate supply had led to weak price increases, slow sales, and flat transactions. Key attention should be paid to market transactions.

From January 15th to January 19th, upstream liquid ammonia rose by 2.93%, downstream aniline prices remained stable, potassium nitrate prices fell by 0.91%, and TDI prices fell by 0.39%.

Market outlook

Market transactions fell short of expectations, and customers were in demand for dyes, pesticide intermediates, and other products had weak purchasing power. Nitric acid analysts from SunSirs predict that nitric acid prices may mainly fluctuate to be weaker.
