StoneX announced on Thursday that the total corn production in Brazil for 2023/24 is expected to be 124.5 million tons, which is basically consistent with last month's forecast.
The company has increased Brazil's first season corn production to 25.9 million tons, 0.4% higher than the forecast in early January.
The yield of the second season corn that has just started sowing has been reduced to 96.4 million tons, a 0.1% decrease from last month, as weather uncertainty may damage the corn crop.
