According to the analysis system of the commodity market of SunSirs, the average PS quotation at the beginning of last week was 9,833 RMB/ton, and the average PS price over the weekend was 9,900 RMB/ton, with a price increase of 0.68% and a year-on-year increase of 6.64%.

Reference for mainstream brand prices excluding taxes: Zhenjiang Qimei PG33 quoted 10,400 RMB/ton, Taiwan Taihua 5250 quoted 10,150-10,200 RMB/ton, Ningbo Taihua 535N quoted 9,840 RMB/ton, Shanghai Secco 123P quoted 9,330 RMB/ton, Thai Petrochemical 150 quoted 9,580 RMB/ton, Guangzhou Petrochemical 525 quoted 9,130 RMB/ton.

Last week, the upstream styrene of PS rose first and then fell, and market transactions rebounded. Downstream demand procurement was maintained, and the mainstream price of GPPS (polyphenylene sulfide) in the East China market was between 9,600-11,300 RMB/ton, while the mainstream price of HIPS (polystyrene) was between 10,200-11,500 RMB/ton.

The PS market is trading well, and it is expected that the short-term PS price will be mainly volatile and strong.
