According to foreign news on April 9th, data released by the American Petroleum Institute (API) on Tuesday showed that US crude oil and distillate inventories increased last week, while gasoline inventories decreased.
As of the week ending April 5th, US crude oil inventories increased by 3.034 million barrels, gasoline inventories decreased by 609,000 barrels, and distillate inventories increased by 120,000 barrels.
Analysts had previously expected that US crude oil inventories would increase by about 2.4 million barrels last week, gasoline inventories would decrease by about 1.3 million barrels, and distillate inventories would decrease by about 1.2 million barrels.
