According to the commodity market analysis system of SunSirs, the reference price for propylene on April 18th was 6,914.60 RMB/ton, an increase of 0.96% compared to April 1st (6,848.60 RMB/ton). Recently, the propylene raw material market had been operating strongly, coupled with the rising price of liquid chlorine raw materials, resulting in significant cost pressure on the propylene process. The raw material glycerol market was mainly stable, and the cost impact of glycerol method was limited.

Supply and demand side:

The industry's capacity utilization rate was below 50%, with limited demand support. Downstream mainly consumed the inventory of raw materials, inquiries were relatively low, and the market transaction atmosphere was flat. The focus of negotiations in the ECH market was stagnant and weaker.

Market outlook
