On April 25th, the commodity price index (BPI) was at 946 points, unchanged from yesterday, a decrease of 29.56% from the highest point in the cycle of 1,343 points (2021-10-19), and an increase of 43.33% from the lowest point of 660 points on February 3rd, 2016. (Note: The cycle refers to 2011-12-01 present)
According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, on April 25, 2024, there were a total of 46 commodities with a month on month increase in the list of commodity prices, concentrated in the non-ferrous sector (15 in total) and the chemical sector (15 in total). The top three commodities with a rise were phosphoric acid (wet process) (2.96%), neodymium oxide (2.56%), and praseodymium oxide (2.52%). There were a total of 42 commodities that experienced a month on month decline, concentrated in chemical (15 in total) and energy (6 in total). The top three commodities with the largest decline were cotton yarn 32S (-2.91%), polycrystalline silicon (-2.50%), and palm oil (-2.22%).
