SunSirs: China Corn Prices Remained Stable with a Weak Trend Last Week (April 22-26)
April 29 2024 15:05:59SunSirs(Selena)

According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the domestic corn price remained stable with a weak trend last week. At the beginning of the week, the average price of yellow corn in the third class was 2,311.43 RMB/ton, and the average price over the weekend was 2,305.71 RMB/ton, a decrease of 0.25% during the week.

In late April, farmers in the Northeast production area were busy with the stable trade of moisture corn, and the overall prices in the Northeast production area remained stable. Affected by the continuous rise in gas temperature, the main players in the grain storage trade in North China had an increased intention to cash out. In addition, imported corn and its substitutes continued to arrive at the port, and the supply of corn in the market remained loose. The overall pressure on the domestic corn market prices remained stable, with a weak trend.

Last week, domestic egg prices fluctuated at the bottom, with a slight increase of 0.73% during the week. Pig prices fluctuated weakly and fell 0.20% during the week. The breeding industry continued to operate at a low level, and the enthusiasm of farmers to replenish their pens was relatively low. The demand for corn feed will remain weak in the short term.

The corn product analyst from SunSirs believes that the supply and demand in the corn market are relatively stable, and downstream procurement is generally cautious. There is a long short game, and in the short term, the domestic corn market prices will rebound under pressure, and the overall situation will continue to fluctuate at the current level.
