Price trend

The price of orthoboric acid slightly declined in April. According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, as of April 30th, the average price of orthoboric acid in the domestic market was 7,175 RMB/ton. As of April 30th, the quotation range of domestic orthoboric acid traders was between 6,300-7,800 RMB/ton (the actual transaction price of different brands, specifications, and products was mainly negotiated), and the mainstream price was between 6,900-6,950 RMB/ton based on the volume of goods sold.

In terms of overseas imported goods, the foreign quotation for imported goods was concentrated at 7,500-7,700 RMB/ton (the actual transaction price of different brands, specifications, and products was mainly negotiated). According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, as of April 30th, the average market price of imported orthoboric acid was 7,625 RMB/ton, a decrease of 0.49% compared to the average market price of 7,662.5 RMB/ton in early April.

Market outlook

The price of orthoboric acid began to decline from its high point in June 2022, and began to bottom out and fluctuate horizontally in May 2023. As of April 30th, it was still operating in the range of bottom box fluctuations. If there is no positive news, it is expected to be difficult to change in the short term.
