Analysis review

The main reason was that some manufacturers had adjusted their factory prices. Especially for Shandong Dongming Petrochemical, the price increase on that day reached 50 RMB/ton. The upstream liquid chlorine market had been operating at a high level recently, with expectations of an increase, providing good cost support. However, the downstream market for PAC had remained sluggish, with a slight fluctuation and decline since May, with a decline of 0.58%.

Market outlook

As of May 8th, the downstream market for hydrochloric acid was weak, making it difficult to support high prices. It is expected that the market for hydrochloric acid may rise and be difficult to sustain, with a later period mainly characterized by volatility.
