According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the price of LNG in China has increased this week. As of May 9th, the average price of LNG in China was 4,470 RMB/ton, which is 2.62% higher than the average price of 4,356 RMB/ton on May 5th.
After the May Day holiday, the domestic LNG market continued to rise. After the holiday, traffic resumed smoothly, market circulation was good, and heavy vehicles began to increase. On the cost side, there is support, coupled with an increase in downstream replenishment demand, the market is operating at a high price, and liquid prices have continued to rise. In terms of sea and gas, the prices of receiving stations have fluctuated, and currently the competition between sea and land is intensifying.
The LNG analyst from SunSirs believes that the domestic LNG market has been pushing upwards recently, and after the continuous rise in liquid prices, downstream delivery capacity is limited, but the market is relatively optimistic. It is expected that the domestic LNG prices will be relatively strong in the short term, with consolidation and operation being the main focus.
