According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the average market price of CPL in China on May 11th was 12,900 RMB/ton, which was 0.58% higher than the average market price of 12,825 RMB/ton on May 6th.

Analysis review

The market price of CPL had increased this week. The price of raw material pure benzene had increased, leading to increased cost support. The downstream operating rate had increased, leading to a positive demand for raw materials. The overall industry chain market trend was moving upwards. Some companies had resumed maintenance of their CPL units, leading to an increase in market supply. The settlement price for Sinopec's superior liquid CPL was 13,350 RMB/ton.

Raw material pure benzene market: This week, the price of pure benzene had slightly increased. On May 6th, the price of pure benzene was 8,665.5 RMB/ton, and on May 11th, the price of pure benzene was 8,750.5 RMB/ton, with a price increase of 0.98%. This week, the price of Sinopec's pure benzene was 8,800 RMB/ton (prices in Shandong and Hebei regions were synchronized).

Downstream PA6 market: The domestic PA6 market had risen this week. The high level of construction in the aggregation factory had increased the enthusiasm for raw material procurement. As of May 11th, the reference price for domestic PA6 was 14,687.5 RMB/ton.

Market outlook
