The prices of raw material liquid wax and liquid chlorine continued to decline, with insufficient cost support. Downstream procurement enthusiasm was average, mostly maintained purchases on demand, and market transactions were weak. As of May 23rd, the ex factory price of 52 environmentally friendly chlorinated paraffin in Anhui Province was around 5,800 RMB/ton, and the market price of 52 national standard chlorinated paraffin in Shandong Province was around 5,300-5,600 RMB/ton.

In terms of raw material liquid wax, the price of liquid wax continued to decline this week, with a downward trend as the main trend. Liquid wax fluctuated with the crude oil market. In terms of raw material liquid chlorine, the price of liquid chlorine had continued to decline this week. As of May 23rd, the shipment situation of enterprises was average, and actual orders were mainly negotiated.

Market outlook

According to Chlorinated Paraffin analysts from SunSirs, the raw material market had weakened recently and there was insufficient support from the cost side. Downstream was relatively cautious, with limited new market transactions. It is expected that the short-term chlorinated paraffin market will consolidate to be weaker.
