According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, the average market price of CPL in China on May 24th was 13,477 RMB/ton, which was a 1.70% increase compared to the average market price of 13,252 RMB/ton on May 20th.

Analysis review

This week, the CPL market continued the previous week's trend, with prices showing a strong upward trend. The price of raw material pure benzene had increased, leading to increased cost support. The downstream operating rate had increased, the demand for raw materials had improved, the market trend was upward, and terminal demand had increased. As of May 24th, the settlement price of Sinopec high-quality liquid CPL was 13,710 RMB/ton.

Raw material pure benzene market: This week, the price of pure benzene had slightly increased. On May 20th, the price of pure benzene was 8,773 RMB/ton. On Friday (May 24th), the price of pure benzene was 8,835 RMB/ton, an increase of 1.06% from last week and 30.4% from the same period last year. This week, the price of Sinopec’ pure benzene was 8,800 RMB/ton (prices in Shandong and Hebei regions were synchronized)

Downstream PA6 market: The PA6 market had been experiencing strong fluctuations recently. Enhanced support on the cost side. The load of domestic polymerization plants was stable with an increase, and the demand for stocking by terminal enterprises was relatively strong. As of May 24th, the reference price for domestic PA6 was 14,875 RMB/ton.

Market outlook
