May 29 2024 10:47:06SunSirs(John)

Price trend

According to the monitoring of the commodity market analysis system of SunSirs, the price of potassium sulfate with a 50% content at the beginning of this week was 3,190 RMB/ton, and the price of potassium sulfate with a 50% content at the end of this week was 3,216 RMB/ton, with a price increase of 0.84%.

Analysis review

The domestic market price of potassium sulfate continued to rise, with an overall increase of mostly 50-100 RMB/ton. As of May 24th, the operating rate of resource-based potassium sulfate manufacturers was gradually decreasing, and the SDIC Luobupo potash Co., Ltd was gradually entering the maintenance state. The potassium sulfate manufacturers in Qinghai's water salt system were still operating normally, and there was basically no available supply of goods in the plant. As of May 24th, the arrival price of 52% SDIC Luobupo potash Co., Ltd powder potassium sulfate was mostly between 3,250-3,350 RMB/ton, and actual transactions were mainly negotiated.

As the summer compound fertilizer market gradually came to an end, downstream compound fertilizer factories had relatively limited follow-up purchases of potassium chloride raw materials. Some high potassium economic crops still required the purchase of potassium sulfate raw materials. As of May 24th, the transaction volume of potassium chloride in the raw material market was limited, and there was a large demand for potassium sulfate spot.

Market outlook

The domestic potassium fertilizer market was trading actively, and it is expected that the domestic potassium fertilizer market prices will mainly fluctuate to be stronger in the short term.
