Downstream R22, with the arrival of high temperature weather, the demand for air conditioning maintenance had increased; In addition, there was some support from export orders from enterprises in the region in the second half of the month, the overall market for chloroform was on the rise.
In May, the operation of domestic methane chloride plants increased, and the operating rate of the plants gradually increased from 71% in early May to around 79% at the end of the month.

In May, with the arrival of high temperature weather, the downstream refrigerant R22 had increased the demand due to air conditioning maintenance, providing some necessary support for chloroform.
Market outlook
