SunSirs: The Price of EA Remained Stable This Week
June 05 2024 10:36:01SunSirs(John)

Price trend

This week (5.25-5.31), the domestic price of EA remained stable. According to the Commodity Market Analysis System of SunSirs, as of the 31st, the price of EA remained at 6,290 RMB/ton, and remained unchanged for the week. Due to insufficient upstream cost support, the supply and demand of EA were relatively stable, and the market situation was running smoothly.

Analysis review

This week, the EA market remained stable and cautious. The utilization rate of EA production capacity on the supply side was at a medium to low level, and the supplier's inventory was under pressure, while the manufacturer maintained active shipments; On the raw material side, the price of acetic acid was weak and volatile, with insufficient cost support. The upstream market was transmitted to the terminal market, affecting downstream purchasing. Downstream buyers averagely accepted high priced goods, and they often followed up on demand when entering the market. Under the game of supply and demand, the price of EA remained stable.

Market outlook

The upstream acetic acid of EA had slightly increased, with good cost support and no pressure on the supplier's supply. Downstream purchases were made as needed, and the market was optimistic. It is expected that the EA market will consolidate to rise in the short term. It is recommended to pay attention to the price execution of raw material acetic acid and EA manufacturers. As of May 31st, the mainstream transaction price in the market was between 6,200-6,370 RMB/ton.
