On June 13, the commodity price index BPI was 955 points, unchanged from yesterday, down 28.89% from the highest point of 1,343 points in the cycle (2021-10-19), and up 44.70% from the lowest point of 660 points on February 3, 2016. (Note: the period refers to 2011-12-01 to now)

According to the price monitoring of the trading society, 33 commodities rose month on month in the list of commodity prices on June 13, 2024, mainly in the chemical sector (a total of 12) and the rubber and plastic sector (a total of 5). The top three commodities were polyester POY (3.85%), butadiene (3.16%) and styrene butadiene rubber (3.01%), respectively. A total of 50 commodities fell month on month, mainly in chemical industry (19 kinds in total) and steel (7 kinds in total). The top three commodities falling were butanone (-1.60%), methanol (-1.54%) and urea (-1.47%).
