The Russian Energy Minister stated that Russia and Ukraine are actively negotiating a significant increase in natural gas and electricity supply. The two countries are working hard to expand the capacity of the Central Asian pipeline system to increase natural gas supply. Starting from October 7, 2023, Ukraine will import natural gas from Russia for a two-year contract, supplying 2.8 billion cubic meters of gas annually.
