Price trend
On July 2nd, the listed price of acetone for Sinopec East China was 8,000 RMB/ton, while the listed price for Sinopec North China was 8,050-8,100 RMB/ton.
Analysis review
In terms of equipment, in July, two sets of equipment, Shanghai Xisa and Qingdao Gulf, were shut down. In mid month, Wanhua Chemical also had maintenance plans, and Huizhou Zhongxin and CNOOC Shell were also in the maintenance period, involving a total acetone production capacity of one million tons.
From the above, it can be seen that there were many acetone maintenance equipment, limited import supply replenishment, and little supply pressure. However, downstream enterprises were not in a high mood to enter the market for replenishment, and the phenol ketone factory was still in a loss making state. A significant decline may not be significant, and it is expected that the acetone market will operate weakly in the short term.
