According to data from SunSirs, the price of seamless tubes had slightly increased this week. As of the weekend, the price of seamless tubes for 20 # and 108 * 4.5 was quoted at 4,540 RMB/ton, an increase of 0.28% from the beginning of the week and a year-on-year decrease of 1.57%.

Analysis review

This week, the quotation for steel mill billets had increased. The factory quotation for 20# hot-rolled tube billets was 3,670-4,150 RMB/ton, an increase of 30-50 RMB/ton. As of July 5th, the rise in raw materials was relatively strong, and spot coke had also risen, reversing the continuous decline in the past month.

After a continuous bearish decline in June, the market sentiment was pessimistic and the market volatility bottomed out. At the beginning of July, both the futures market and raw material prices increased, which to some extent boosted market confidence. However, the East China market was hot and rainy in July, with average demand.

Market outlook
