Price trend

According to SunSirs monitoring, the average price of nitric acid in eastern China this week was 1,500 RMB/ton, and the price remained stable.

Analysis review   

Product: The quoted price of concentrated nitric acid companies are temporarily stable. The price of Jiangsu Hongze Yinzhu Chemicals was 1,350 RMB/ton; the price of Anhui Jinhe was 1,450 RMB/ton, which was flat compared with last week; the price of Wenshui County Synthetic Chemical Co., Ltd. was 1,630 RMB/ton; Shandong Helitai Chemical Co., Ltd. quoted 1,700 RMB/ton, which was unchanged from last week; the market demand for nitric acid was light.

Industry: Upstream liquid ammonia, tight supply in the first half of this month, coupled with the spring plough season, liquid ammonia continued to rebound. Downstream aniline, according to data from the SunSirs' block list, from Tuesday to Thursday, the price of aniline fell for three consecutive days. The price in Shandong was 6,200 RMB/ton, down 500 RMB/ton from last Friday, a decline of 7.46%; The price in Nanjing area was 6,450 RMB/ton, down 450 RMB/ton from last Friday, a drop of 6.52%.

Market outlook

Affected by the upstream liquid ammonia, the nitric acid analyst of SunSirs predicts that nitric acid may rise slightly, but there is limited room for upward adjustment.
