On July 17th, the price of copper futures in Shanghai fell. The main contract 2408 closed at 78,500 RMB/ton, down 860 RMB/ton or 1.08%. At 3:00 pm on the same day, the March copper price in London was 9,644.00 US dollars per ton, and the ratio of Shanghai to London was 8.14, higher than the previous trading day's 8.11. The decline in Shanghai copper futures was smaller than that in the London market.
All contracts were traded 224,778 lots, and the position increased by 2,277 lots to 516,544 lots. The main contract sold 89,546 lots, and the position decreased by 10,915 lots to 173,509 lots.
