According to data released by shipping companies, Brazil's sugar exports increased by 50% in the first half of 2024, reaching 15.15 million tons, with Indonesia being the main export destination. As of July 1st, the main production areas of Brazil (central and southern regions) have cumulatively harvested 238.405 million tons of sugarcane, a year-on-year increase of 13.27%, and produced 14.2 million tons of sugar, a year-on-year increase of 15.7%.
