The overall trend of sugar prices both domestically and internationally is showing a downward and fluctuating trend. The expected increase in raw sugar imports in the second half of the year is strong, and coupled with higher inventory levels in domestic sugar factories compared to the same period last year, as well as the concentrated listing of new sugar in the fourth quarter, the market supply pressure is relatively high, and market transactions are lower than expected. The focus of domestic sugar prices may continue to decline.

With the end of domestic sugar production, the biggest factors affecting the domestic sugar market price in the second half of the year are import volume and import pace, with a focus on Brazil's pressing progress and the expected increase in production in the northern hemisphere. Brazil is currently at the peak of the crushing season, with downward pressure on international sugar prices from the spot supply side. In addition, the increase in planting area in the northern hemisphere's major producing countries India and Thailand has brought about expectations of increased production, which also puts pressure on sugar prices.

The inventory of domestic white sugar market is high, and the demand is lower than expected. It is expected that the price of white sugar will mainly fluctuate and weaken in the short term.
