According to Xiamen Customs statistics, from January to June 2024, Fujian Province exported a total of 26.08 billion RMB of plastic products, a year-on-year increase of 36.5%, ranking fifth in the country in terms of export value.

Southeast Asia is the main export market for plastic products in Fujian Province. In the first six months of this year, a total of 10.33 billion RMB worth of plastic products were exported, an increase of 93.8%, accounting for nearly 40% of the total export value of plastic products in Fujian Province during the same period. Among them, exports to Singapore and Malaysia continued to sell well, with exports of 3.45 billion RMB and 2.46 billion RMB respectively, an increase of 3.4 times and 1.5 times year-on-year. During the same period, exports of plastic products to countries and regions such as the United States and the European Union amounted to 4.76 billion RMB and 2.47 billion RMB, respectively, an increase of 7.1% and 23.1% year-on-year, accounting for 27.7% of the total export value of plastic products in Fujian Province during the same period.
