The downstream demand in the coating market was lukewarm, and market transactions were relatively weak.

Market outlook

This week, the supply of five major types of steel was 7.8351 million tons, with a decrease of 605,500 tons compared to the previous week; The total inventory of five major types of steel was 17.2263 million tons, a decrease of 247,800 tons on a weekly basis; The weekly consumption of the five major varieties was 8.0829 million tons, with a month on month decrease of 8.7% in building materials consumption and 3.6% in sheet metal consumption.

Considering the arrival of the off-season, although most factories' costs continued to rise, their shipping mentality continued, and their offers remained strong at high levels.
