According to the latest report from the Cambodian Rubber Authority, Cambodia's rubber exports reached 173,915 tons in the first seven months of 2024, an increase of 1.72% from 170,968 tons in the same period last year.
The report states that the country earned $269 million in revenue from rubber exports in the first seven months, an increase of 12.4% from $239.3 million in the same period last year; The average cost of exports is $1547 per ton, which is about $147 higher than the same period last year.
The country mainly exports rubber to Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, and China.
As of now, Cambodia has a total of 407,172 hectares of rubber plantations, of which 320,184 hectares or 78.6% can be harvested.
