On July 5th, Taras Vysotsky, the Minister of Agriculture of Ukraine, stated that the grain production for 2024/2025 will be 56 million tons, including 21 million tons of wheat, 28.5 million tons of corn, and 5 million tons of barley. The expected grain export volume for 2024/2025 (July to June) is 43 million tons, including 15 million tons of wheat and 25 million tons of corn. The Ukrainian Ministry of Agriculture predicts that the oilseed production in 2024 may reach 21 million tons, including 13 million tons of sunflower seeds, 4 million tons of rapeseed, and a record breaking 5 million tons of soybeans
The Ukrainian Ministry of Agriculture stated that the export volume of grains, oilseeds, and vegetable oils in 2024/2025 will exceed 60 million tons, with oilseeds and finished products reaching 17 million tons.
