According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, on August 13, 2024, there were a total of 33 commodities that showed a year-on-year increase in commodity prices, mainly concentrated in the non-ferrous sector (11 in total) and the chemical sector (9 in total). The top three commodities with the highest increase were WTI crude oil (4.19%), Brent crude oil (3.31%), and sulfur (2.67%). A total of 44 products experienced a month on month decline, mainly in the chemical industry (20 products) and steel (7 products). The top 3 products with the highest decline were trichloromethane (-2.84%), hot-rolled coils (-2.57%), and rapeseed oil (-2.41%).
