On the 15th, the TDI market in North China was in a state of consolidation, with domestic TDI at 13,800-14,000 RMB/ton and Shanghai TDI at around 14,000-14,200 RMB/ton. Downstream demand remained high, and upstream willingness to maintain prices weakened. It is expected that the North China TDI market will remain in a state of stalemate in the short term.
It is also understood that Wanhua Chemical's Yantai unit stopped production for maintenance on July 16, which is expected to last about 45 days; Wanhua's Xinjiang unit stopped production for maintenance on August 10, and technical transformation was completed to 200,000 tons; Wanhua's Fujian unit operated smoothly.
