According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, on August 15, 2024, a total of 21 commodities showed a year-on-year increase in their prices, mainly concentrated in the agricultural and sideline sector (7 in total) and the chemical sector (4 in total). The top 3 commodities with the highest increase were palm oil (1.46%), soybean meal (1.18%), and natural rubber (1.06%). A total of 51 products experienced a month on month decline, mainly in the chemical industry (20 in total) and non-ferrous metals (7 in total). The top 3 products with the highest decline were PET (-2.91%), lithium hydroxide (-2.86%), and iron ore (Australia) (-2.69%).
