The U.S. Department of Agriculture's August supply and demand report shows that global rapeseed production is expected to be 88.83 million tons in 2024/25, an increase of 950,000 tons or 1.08% from the previous month and an increase of 60,000 tons or 0.1% from the previous year. Russia increased its production by 800,000 tons to 5.1 million tons, mainly due to the large increase in planting area.
