According to customs data, the import volume of manganese ore in China in July 2024 was 2,293,664 tons, a month on month increase of 6.99% and a year-on-year decrease of 7.78%.

The cumulative import volume of manganese ore from January to July 2024 was 16,298,630 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 8.79% (17,870,079 tons).

The import volume of manganese ore from the top five importing countries in July 2024 was as follows: South Africa imported 1,420,665 tons of manganese ore, Gabon imported 341,398 tons of manganese ore, Ghana imported 202,088 tons, Myanmar imported 108,828 tons of manganese ore, and Australia imported 84,114 tons of manganese ore. The total import volume of the top five manganese ore importing countries was 2,157,093 tons, accounting for 94.05% of the total import volume.
